SUMMARY:Piedmont Fox Hounds Sporting Weekend
DESCRIPTION:The Piedmont Fox Hounds will host a Sporting Weekend March 24-26\, 2023 in Upperville\, Virgina. Foxhunters from across the land are invited to spend three days with Piedmont to hunt\, socialize\, attend the PFH Point-to-Point and compete in the PFH Hunter Pairs competition.\nThe weekend kicks off on Friday\, March 24\, 2023 with a Private Hunt through stunning Mellon Country with a tailgate breakfast to follow. That evening\, cocktails\, supper\, and dancing will commence at historic Buchanan Hall in Upperville.\nHeed the call to the post at 12:30 pm Saturday\, March 26 for the 81st Piedmont Fox Hounds Point-to-Point Races\, at Salem Racecourse\, Upperville\, Virginia. Tailgating spaces are available to enjoy the day amongst friends and family.\nThe Weekend concludes with the PFH Hunter Pairs competition on Sunday\, March 26 at Clifton Back Gate\, Upperville\, Virginia. The Hunter Pairs begin promptly at 9 am.

SUMMARY:Dressage Clinic with USDF Gold Medalist\, Brandi Benedict
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for this wonderful clinic with talented rider and horsewoman\, Brandi Benedict of SonRise Dressage in Lovettsville\, VA. Each rider spot is a private\, 45 minute session beginning at 8am. There will be time for Q&A after both the morning sessions and the afternoon sessions. Lunch will take place between sessions and light refreshments will be served. We encourage auditors and participants to stay for multiple riders in order to get the most of out the clinic. \nBrandi’s teaching style is clear and communicative\, allowing you to learn as other riders work on their goals. Whether you are interested in learning a little more about dressage fundamentals or riding your first I1 test this year\, Brandi can help you achieve your goals. CHS is subsidizing some of the cost of this event in hopes of providing more accessible equestrian opportunities in our community. Day stalls are available for $40 so you can comfortably leave your horse while you watch. There is a possibilty of adding up to 2 afternoon spots in this clinic if it fills so stay tuned.
