This course introduces the basics of Horses and Horsemanship from the ground. No riding experience needed. We will both discuss with a syllabus and have horses present to assist in learning basic care, grooming, behavior, handling, anatomy of horses, and more. Perfect for someone who is interested in fostering a relationship with horses, either because you have always wanted to enrich/gain knowledge, or you have a child in riding or therapeutic riding. A total class fee of $200 for the 3 week, hour and a half per lesson course, will be collected via check, cash, Zelle, or Venmo. Class is taught by Bevin Nicholson who has 20+ years experience and has taught at GMU, as well as experience in the hunter/jumper and dressage ring.
